James Loveday, former University of Lincoln Law Society Treasurer 2013/14, has been shortlisted for the Institute of Directors, Student of the Year Award.
This award is focused on recognising students who have implemented brilliant and innovative projects that have created real tangible value. James is the first student from Lincoln who has made it through the rigorous two-part selection process to gain a place in the final.
James started his business, Loveday Buyer, whilst he was still at university. The aim is to change the way people sell their pre-owned video games and consoles. The business offered tailored quotes to individuals and charities along with free postage and fast payment on their goods.
James graduated with a Bachelor of Law and Business from the University of Lincoln in September 2015 and was well known for his contributions to the University community during his time at Lincoln. He was a Trustee of the University of Lincoln Students’ Union for two years and awarded an Honorary Lifetime Membership of the organisation for his dedication.
The final of the Institute of Directors Awards 2015 takes place on Friday 23rd October at the Lancaster London Hotel. This ceremony celebrates directors at the forefront of excellence across the country.
We wish James the best of luck at the final and with the official launch of his business Loveday Buyer.
